How to make the insulation layer
for water tanks?
The insulation layer of the GRP water tank is made of polyurethane foam composite
color steel plate with a thermal conductivity of 0.022-0.027W/(m·K), and the bottom
is made of high-efficiency materials such as rubber and plastic insulation board with
a thermal conductivity of 0.034-0.038W/(m·K). The thickness of the insulation layer
is 5CM. These insulation materials have excellent insulation performance. It can
effectively maintain the water temperature in the water tank, reduce heat loss,
and achieve the goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction.
1. Polyurethane(PU) foam+Steel color plate (Steel grade SS304/201/202). Price is higher than option
Polyurethane thickness most are 30mm or 50mm.
