Can the GRP water tank be buried in ground?

Today, one of our client ask us a question, he want to buy one set 350m³ capacity water tank, but 50% need to be undergound. Dialogue as below:

 

Answer from our company

We don’t suggest use the GRP material water tank buried in ground, for same cost, 
galvanized steel water tank maybe more better for underground usage. If the water tank size is very small. 
Maybe can consider of GRP water tank, if capacity as this customer ask 350m³, it’s a big size. GRP water tank 
strength can not bear it.
