All FRP grating should be securely fastened to its supporting structure to protect the grating
and increase product service life. Specialty clips manufactured from type stainless steel are
available for all fiberglass products. Clips can be used to attach grating or plate to the supporting
structure or fasten adjacent grating panels to minimize load induced differential deflection. Maximum
recommended clip spacing is 48 inches on center with a minimum of four (4) clips per piece of grating.
Clip Type Selection
- M-clip, hold down clip/ Saddle clip
For bolting grating through supports beneath(drilling of support required), available for all types of gratings - C-clip, panel joining clip
For joining solid edges of panels together, available for most type of gratings. - L-clip, panel joining clip
For lighter duty use in securing grating panels to support frames.

A: It made by SS 304 , 316 or 201, has good corrosion resistance features.
Can i buy frp gratings clip alone?
A: You can purchase the clips alone, or the clip sets which come complete with bolts, nuts and washers.
Clips are made from 316 stainless steel.
How many quantity clips it need for FRP grating?
FRP Gratings recommends placing clips every 48″, using a minimum of 4 clips on any piece of grating
and 8 clips on a full 4′ x 12′ panel.

using a fastener with a larger surface area will increase the durability and stability of your grating. Our

in place for a long time. - Chemical and humidity resistance: If you’ve chosen our FRP grating for installation in an environment with
high humidity or the presence of chemicals, you need fasteners and accessories that will resist damage and
corrosion. We can propose a variety of resistant materials for our different models of fasteners, and we invite
you to contact us for more information. - Access for installation: A final concern when choosing your FRP grating fasteners is whether or not you have
access to install the fastener. If you have access top and bottom, you can choose any fastener, but if you only
have access at the top side, select either our G-Clips or CCSM-Clips. These two-part designs feature a hook for
