一、What is a glass tube？

二、What should I do before construction？

- The material composition of glass pipe is different from that of steel pipe, cast iron pipe, or reinforced concrete pipe with wire wound. It is a kind of composite flexible pipe material, the port of the pipe must meet the requirements of the engineer.
- Before construction, the stiffness of the pipeline should be checked according to the dynamic load of the undisturbed soil and other parameters. The construction method and backfill form should be arranged according to the stiffness selected by the design, so as to ensure the quality of the construction period, reduce the construction period and reduce the total investment of the project
- The interface between FRP sand pipe and pipe adopts socket type double O type sealing ring connection, and its assembly method is similar to socket type cast iron pipe installation.
三、What should I pay attention to when installing FRP pipes？
Before installation, read the instruction manual and observe the following items during installation:
- Check and accept the specifications, sizes and pressure grades of all pipes, which should be consistent with the design drawings;
- The pipe should be stored in a relatively flat place;
- Prepare the assembly machine and tools. Different equipment is used for different specifications.
- Compile the construction plan according to the construction drawing. The preparation of the construction plan is similar to the installation of other types of pipe materials;
- Configuration of all pipeline accessories, such as elbow, exhaust valve tee, drainage valve and the matching valve;
- Before assembling the pipes, the basic dimensions of the earthwork shall be inspected to confirm that they conform to the design requirements.
