GRP (Glass fiber reinforced plastics) pipeline is a New composite materials, The pipe made of two or more different materials, the qualities of which combine to provide superior strength. GRP pipes consist of vinyl ester resins, or unsaturated polyester, glass fiber pieces and reinforcing agents. It is the best choice in Chemical industry, water supply and drainage projects and pipeline project, which have good Corrosion resistance, low water resistance characteristics,light eight, high strength, high transport flow, easy installation, short construction period and low comprehensive investment and other excellent performances.

How to produce GRP pipe?
FRP Pipe / GRP Pipes are manufactured by widely used helical filament winding method. FRP / GRP Pipes manufactured by filament winding method utilize continuous glass strand roving impregnated with polyester resin and helically wound on rotating mandrel at a specified winding angle. The winding process is continuous in bi-directional layers until the desired wall thickness is achieved. FRP / GRP pipes manufactured by filament winding offers better physical properties in comparison with other method so FRP / GRP Pipes manufactured with helical filament winding method will have longer services life without affecting the cost of supply.

Different Layer of GRP pipe
The wall structure of FRP pipes from the inside to the outside are: FRP lining, FRP secondary lining, FRP winding, FRP external protective layer.
The function of different layer are FRP lining, FRP secondary lining layer play the role of anti-corrosion and anti-seepage, the winding layer is responsible for the strength and rigidity of the pipeline, and the outer protective layer plays the role of anti-aging, anti-corrosion and anti-sun.
