Key points for timely use of lubrication methods:

  1. The lubricating grease must be clean and cannot be mixed with debris to avoid reducing the quality of the oil.
  2. Lubrication points should be kept clean. All parts that need lubrication should be cleaned before applying oil, and no dirt or moisture should be left.
  3. All types of lubricants must have special sealed containers and refueling tools such as funnels and oil guns, and the equipment should be kept clean.
  4. Select appropriate lubricating grease according to lubrication regulations and actual conditions.
  5. Determine the oil brand to be used. Once determined, it cannot be mixed with other oils of different brands.
  6. It is not advisable to use sodium-based grease in wet situations.
  7. When lubricating open gears and wire ropes, the oil dirt should be removed first, and then apply appropriate grease.
  8. For centralized lubrication systems, low-consistency grease should be used. At low temperatures or when pipelines are long, softer grease should be used.
  9. For rotating parts without oil injection points, thin oil can be dripped into each rotating gap to reduce wear and prevent corrosion.
  10. When lubricating electrical equipment, it must be done with the power turned off.
  11. When cleaning the gear box, drain the waste oil first, add cleaning agent to an appropriate height, and after idling for a few minutes, drain the cleaning agent and add new oil.
  12. Take samples for testing regularly and change the oil in time.
  13. In addition, important mechanical and electrical components that work frequently, such as wire ropes, pulleys and pulley blocks, each pin of the brake, the rotating shaft of the controller and contactor, the electromagnet pin, the linkage shaft, etc., must be lubricated in time. For the lubrication of other parts, it can be carried out simultaneously with equipment maintenance periods such as daily inspection, weekly inspection, monthly inspection, semi-annual inspection and annual inspection.
